Since discovering the kitchen at the age of 7 and from then on being fascinated by the delights of homebaking, I have constantly tasted and tested new recipes and improve my both knowledge for baking and my skills.

As I grew older the focus of my baking turned to cupcakes, as I loved making and decorating the small but perfectly-formed treats. Never did I think that one day it would lead to a business idea.

In May 2008 whilst at university I entered a business plan competition, my idea, cupcakes of course...and I won! This gave me the push I needed to set the business up for real.

Fast forward to now, and as you see The Vanilla Pod Bakery is up and running baking not only delicious cupcakes, but also luscious  occasion cakes, tray bakes and wedding cakes  all from our small but perfectly-formed bakery in Cheltenham. Our aim is to provide impeccable service and take care of all your cake related needs.
