WOMAN OF THE YEAR CRITERIA |

| This award will go to a woman who has made a significant personal contribution to the success of the company they run or in which they are employed. We would like to know their/your personal involvement in the company’s growth or expansion, its move into new products or services or new markets along with any other pertinent contribution made by them/you. The judges will also wish to hear about the more personal qualities that have made them/you successful including activities they/you are involved in outside their/your business life, which have relevance to Gloucestershire or the local community. |

RISING STAR OF THE YEAR CRITERIA |

| This award will go to a woman who has been promoted or fast tracked with in the company in which they are employed in 2009. We would like to know any personal involvement they/you have had in the company’s growth or expansion or in new systems being introduced along with any other pertinent contribution made by the individual concerned. The judges will also wish to hear about the more personal qualities that have made them successful including anything they/you are involved in outside of the business. |

WOMEN IN THE WORKPLACE AWARD CRITERIA |
 |
| This award will recognise a company who has demonstrated a flexibility and adaptability to the employment of women. This flexibility and adaptability does not have to just be specifically available just to female employees. The judges will be interested in how this was achieved and details on the different aspects. |

MENTOR OF THE YEAR CRITERIA |
 |
| This award will go to the woman who has demonstrated the skills of being a mentor, who has gone the extra mile in supporting a colleague or business and has made a difference to their life or business. The judges will be interested in the details of what has happened as a result of their/your mentorship, this maybe for one or several different people or businesses. |

NEW BUSINESS OF THE YEAR CRITERIA |

| This award is open to all businesses that have started trading since July 2008 and principal trading base is in Gloucestershire with either woman/women owners or a female head of the company. The judges will be interested in a brief outline of the type of business and particularly the reasons why it was started. Include any growth, turnover and profit figures you may want to include, the size and age of the business will be considered against financial performance. |

CONTRIBUTION TO THE COMMUNITY AWARD CRITERIA |
 |
| This award will go to the woman who can demonstrate the differences they have made to their community and/or Gloucestershire in 2009. The judges will be interested in all the different aspects both individually and through the company they/you run or in which are employed including volunteering and corporate social responsibility. Detail work they/you have done and specifically the outcome. |
