This award will go to a business in the Evening Post circulation area, established by a family and still run by them. The business must have been operating for at least five years.
The judges will look at its performances and its potential. Its size and the length of time it has operated will be considered against its financial performance.
The judges will also be interested in any innovative products, services and expansion into new markets. The ethos of the business will also be taken into consideration.

This award will go to an individual who has made a significant impact on the business world in the circulation area of the Evening Post during the past financial year.
It may be through the successful launch of a new company, the revival of an existing one developing and marketing a new product or idea or by diversifying business direction. The ethos of the business will also be taken into consideration.
Relevant financial information will be requested.
This award will go to the company trading in the Evening Post circulation area which has shown outstanding concern for the environment. This may involve reducing emissions, waste or noise, adopting more efficient transport policies or using raw materials more effectively. It may also involve cleaning up land or reducing the impact of the business on neighbours.
The project or initiative must have been completed or reached a meaningful stage within the past year.
A statement of between 300 and 500 words about the project or initiative is required.

The judges will look at its profits and its potential. Its size and the length of time it has operated will be considered against its financial performance.
The judges will also be interested in any innovative products, services, expansion into new markets and the ethos of the business.

The judges will look at its profits and its potential. Its size and the time it has operated will be considered against its financial performance.

This may be reflected in the facilities it provides, the number of people it has helped or the scope of its interest or the extent of its expansion.
